Olympic Gold Medallist Usain Bolt Set to Train With Top European Football Club.. SEE THE BIG CUB

The 100m world record holder, Usain Bolt, has revealed he is set to train with German team Borussia Dortmund, after having a request accepted by the team's manager Thomas Tuchel.

Bolt entered the record books during the Rio Olympic games earlier this year, after winning three Olympic gold medals for the third consecutive games in a row.

Having retained his 100m, 200m and 4x100m relay titles, the Jamaican admitted that he was yet to complete all of his dreams, as he eyes a potential career playing football for Manchester United.

Bolt is a well-known United fan and has made it clear in the past that he dreams of playing for the Red Devils one day.

Whilst this has often been joked about by both the club and sprinter, it appears that Bolt will have the chance to realise his dream, of playing football at least, as he told The Guardian that he will train with Dortmund for a few days to "see what happens."

The sprinter told the Guardian that he saw himself as a winger, so he will now have the chance to put that theory to the test in the coming weeks.

Whilst Dortmund are unlikely to give Bolt an official trial, he can at least put the club's pacey striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in his place and become the fastest man on the training ground.

With Bolt stating he will retire from running after the World Championships in London next year, perhaps he we shouldn't rule out a career in football for the Jamaican after all.
