Jose Mourinho to decide whether to play Wayne Rooney against Arsenal this weekend.

Jose Mourinho is gearing up for his first meet with old foe Arsene Wenger this weekend since becoming the Manchester United manager but faces a number of selection dilemmas ahead of game.

Red Devils captain Wayne Rooney impressed in the clash with Swansea before the international break, and will almost certainly be in the match-day squad despite having left the England squad early due to a knee problem.
However, Rooney was forced to defend his celebrations after England's win over Scotland on Friday.
According to The Sun, the England skipper had been drinking at a private wedding party at the team hotel, after England's players were given a day off by Gareth Southgate.

“Wayne, along with the rest of the England squad, was on a night off duty,” the spokesman said.
“Rather than going out, he chose to stay at the team hotel to relax and celebrate a fine England victory against Scotland.
“During the course of the evening he was approached by numerous fellow guests for autographs and pictures.
“As he has always been, Wayne was happy to sign, pose for photos and chat with guests.

“It is sad that one or two of them have now sought to turn Wayne's friendly good nature to their advantage.”
And the latest development may now force Mourinho into a serious dilemma on whether to play the 31-year old or not.
Meanwhile, Antonio Valencia could return after making a surprise recovery from his broken arm.
