November 18th and 19th, 2016 will forever remain INDELIBLE in the minds of Ijesha Muslims, as Sixty-One Non-Muslims publicly took KALIMATU SHAA'DAH and Reverted to ISLAM during ACADIP Public Lecture, held in Ilesa.
Iléṣà, a town located in Osun State, Nigeria boasts of a population of about 700,000 people. It is also reputed to be the "Jerusalem of Christians" in the South West.
                                   

Some of the popular towns of the Ijesa are Ibokun, Erin Ijesa, Ipetu Ijesa, Ijebu-Ijesa, Esa-Oke, Ipole, Ifewara, Ijeda, Iloko, Iwara, Iperindo, Erinmo, Iwaraja, Idominasi, Ilase, Igangan, Imo, Eti-oni, Ibodi and many others. This group is of the same that founded ancient Jebus (pre-Jerusalem) also called Jebusites. (Judges 19:10-11)
The Academy of Islamic Propagation (ACADIP) held a 2-Day Lecture in Imo, Iléṣà on 18th and 19th of November 2016. The claim that it is "Jerusalem of the Christians" in South West Nigeria is further evidenced as the Ilesa Muslims' Eid Praying Ground where the Lecture was held are surrounded by Churches of different denominations.









ALLAH, in the Glorious Qur'an, enjoins us to invite people with beautiful preaching and wisdom, and reason with them in the ways that are best. It is in this vein that, we welcomed Non-Muslims to the Lectures for Dialogues, along with Questions and Answers.
Alhamdulillah, at the end of Ilesa Programme, Sixty-One (61) Christians publicly declared for Islam, the Path of Truth and the Religion of the Wise !
