Waverly Hills, is a place where no one dares to enter, its history was marked by tragedy now seems to sheltering patients although he has abandoned more than two decades. A dark building hidden in the mountains of Louisville is the setting for strange apparitions, lights that go on in the narrow passages of the old hospital and stories of suicides and strange experiments during its operational period.
It was built in 1900 due to a fatal epidemic of tuberculosis which was known as the “white plague” where most of the population is infected.
The hospital was opened in 1926 and was the most advanced of the place but the medicine was still far behind by that time, since many patients died within that dark, cold building. This disease (tuberculosis) was 60,000 lives, about a person and a half hour.
