The 23-year-old has been Jose Mourinho’s number one target all summer and after the Red Devils struck a deal with Juventus the France international stormed England yesterday for his medicals and in the early hours of this morning penned his immediate future with the Old Trafford side.

Manchester United paid Juventus £89m and £4.25m is included as potential add-ons for the midfielder. The fee now eclipses the previous record of £86m Real Madrid paid to sign Gareth Bale from Tottenham in 2013.

An absolutely excited Pogba told Manutd.com: “I am delighted to rejoin United. It has always been a club with a special place in my heart and I am really looking forward to working with José Mourinho.
“I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Juventus and have some fantastic memories of a great club with players that I count as friends. But I feel the time is right to go back to Old Trafford.

“I always enjoyed playing in front of the fans and can’t wait to make my contribution to the team. This is the right club for me to achieve everything I hope to in the game.”
It will be recalled that Pogba left Manchester United for just £800,000 four years ago after retired manager Sir Alex Ferguson failed to guarantee him a first time spot ahead of the legendary Paul Scholes.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Eric Bailly, and Henrikh Mkhitaryan are the other new arrival at Manchester United this season. Pogba won four titles for Juventus, scoring 28 goals in 124 appearances and has been capped 28 times by France.
